To create the video for their single Holy Ghost, Scottish alternative band Young Fathers hired a pretty intense piece of kit. The video was shot on a moor in Scotland, using a military-grade infa-red surveillance camera, shooting members of the band from a long distance away as they either perform weird tasks or sing/rap sections of the song. Using the camera’s thermal-imaging technology to their full advantage, the video is full of weird effects such as dancing in front of fire and writing on their own body in ice to trick the camera’s sensors.
