So, you’ve been tasked with shooting a promotional video for a mountain-bike manufacturer – how do you make something that adequately shows the speed and quality of bikes designed to be ridden extremely fast down the side of a hill? In the case of this video by Yeti Cycles, you do that by slowing everything riiight down – shot in super-slow motion, the video sees a rider tearing through some atmospheric and misty woods, spraying mud everywhere and remaining airborne for about 90% of the video. The incredible slow motion lets us see every moment where the bike impacts the terrain and moves through it with ease, and it feels like you can see every single part of the bike moving in unison with the rider as he shreds past the camera.
