The WWF used social media influencers to send an important message about the environmental impacts of issues such as climate change, pollution and deforestation. Taking 9 well-known instagram travellers, the charity sent them to picturesque places that have since been destroyed – the influencers posted what the environments had once looked like, leading to an influx of “wish I was here” and “OMG where is this?” comments, before they revealed how these places actually look today. The idea of #Toolatergram is to raise awareness with young people about the environmental issues our planet is facing by showing them where it matters – on their social media feeds.
