This hilariously dark short film should ring true for anyone who has ever had to sit in a group and present their work to others – Writer’s Workshop shows us aspiring writer Jeremy, whose short story gets ripped to shreds in ways you couldn’t even imagine by a group of his peers. Suggestions for improvements range all the way from dissolving his hands in acid to ensure he can never write again, to writing down his hopes and dreams then burning them in order to make sure he never has the urge to write for the rest of his life. Culminating in an actual murder taking place because his writing was so bad, Jeremy’s hilariously receptive expression throughout the whole ordeal should remind anyone of their first ever time being slammed by a group for something you worked so hard on.
