It’s Nice That’s collaboration with galleries around the United Kingdom continues with a journey to the Foundation for Art and Creative Technology in Liverpool – this time populated with bizarre animated creatures by animator Laurie Rowan. Beginning with a tiny green ball-dude rolling his way into the entrance hall, the one character begins inverting himself into a symmetrical totem-pole of strange faces, limbs and waving arms, eventually spewing out further oddball creatures that explore the gallery. The film is playful and fun, and really makes use of the architecture of the building as a playground for these virtual characters to bounce and roll their way about.
