The BBC brings us this wild animation entitled “The Last Train Home”. In it, we take a trip on a train alongside revellers looking to get back home after a long night of drinking.

It’s shot from the point of view of a weary traveller, just looking to get back to bed. As a lot of people who work in hospitality or for public services have unsociable hours, they’re often forced to get on the same trains as people who’ve been out drinking and partying. It makes for a curious mix of commuters. If you’re not drunk, being surrounded by people who are drinking heavily can be a bit unbearable. We’re given a stark look into this midnight ride and see the good, the bad and the ugly sides of this city’s nightlife.

It’s an entertaining look into British drinking culture. The traveller in the video seems to be pretty ambivalent to the whole situation. Other people in the carriage are pretty annoyed at the party-goers though. Would you like to get on this train? Have you been in this situation before? Let us know down in the comments below.
