Stella Artois have attempted to tap into a very hard market to crack – the city worker who doesn’t have time to even stop and read a billboard…


Their Joie de Bière campaign aims to highlight the simple pleasure in taking time to enjoy your surroundings (or beer), and the latest video saw them set up a mobile bar in the City of London and try to give people pints on the go – the results were mixed.

While many passers-by were more than into the idea of having a pint and walking, the realities of serving beer in a paper chalice glass on the streets of London soon came down on them hard. Beer was spilled, knocked over by cyclists and cups disintegrated – all probably a sign that pints will always be best served in an actual bar.
