Volumes is a film by animator and artist Maxim Zhestkov that comprises of billions of coloured particles in a stark, blank space, floating around the room and changing colours to form patterns. An interesting exploration in particle physics and the use of colour, the film sees the particles changing in density and rigidity, sometimes coming up against invisible barriers that force them together.
