Volkswagen has released a powerful video that raises awareness of the dangers of texting while driving by creating a series of phone cases out of cars that were involved in accidents due to distracted driving. The video shows us the cases being made in a workshop, whilst explaining through titles that even though phones were banned in traffic in Sweden this February, there have still been 153 accidents as a result of texting and driving since the ban. To act as a reminder to anyone who needs it, 153 phone cases were made and are available for purchase online, with all profits going to Trafikskadefonden, a charity which helps rehabilitate victims of car crashes.
