You’d think an advert from a company that makes skylights would be a pretty drab affair wouldn’t you, but this short film by Velux is an incredibly well shot piece that analyses the consequences of humans spending too much time indoors in surprisingly stark detail. Titled The Indoor Generation, the video talks about what it is that’s so great about being inside in the first place, before going on to talk about the dangers of polluted air within our homes, represented by people stuck in glass houses filled with damp and smoke. Prompting viewers to let more light and fresh air into their homes, the advert is a surprisingly dark take on the whole concept of a home life.
