Vice sits down with two models from two eras: Jan De Villeneuve, who made her name back in the 1960s and Sophia Tassew, a model who rose to fame in the last year through her Instagram account.

The two compare their stories in fashion. De Villeneuve, who’s career took place during an era of misogynistic attitudes, praises the #MeToo movement. She describes how far women’s right have come since she was modelling and how much safer and kinder the world of fashion is today.

The younger of the two describes how her career was born out of self-love, posting pictures to Instagram celebrating her body and showing off her imperfections. The interview shows us that the future of the world of fashion is one of inclusion and acceptance.
