You know that whole “Golden Era of TV” that we’re apparently living through at the moment? It shows no signs of slowing down, as the trailer for the upcoming FX series Trust demonstrates. Directed by Danny Boyle and his team responsible for modern classics like Slumdog Millionaire and 127 Hours, the series focuses on the story of a grandson of a millionaire who decides to kidnap himself in order to pay back his debts, something which we can safely assume isn’t going to go exactly as planned. As it says in the trailer itself, this looks like a story of “murder, suicide and insanity” – also points awarded for the best use of a Pink Floyd song in a trailer this year.
