US telecommunications company Sprint’s latest advert consists of a whole troop of rebellious robots breaking free from their storage facility to try and spread the message of cheap contracts. The funny advert is presented as some kind of i-Robot style testing facility for robotics and AI, the only downside being that the AI has spotted the obvious flaw with people choosing certain network providers over others. The backchat from the human supervisor prompts a mini-rebellion, as the robots decide they’re better off heading over to Sprint (just like the consumers, see what they did there?).
