OVO Energy are beating climate change with thrash metal in their new TV advert

OVO Energy’s latest TV advert isn’t pulling any punches when it comes to calling out those who think climate change is a hoax. In the advert we see a beach covered with electronic items, all plugged directly into the sand and generating a huge amount of power. The crescendo of radio interviews, microwaves pinging and TVs showing climate change deniers asking for proof reaches a climax before Raining Blood by thrash metal band Slayer begins pumping, adding an even more aggressive tone as we pan out to see a wind turbine at sea.
