“I think it’s in human nature to ask questions. Why are we here? What’s in the universe?”

This documentary from Google tells the remarkable story of a young student, inspired by a scientist whose lecture she attended, searching for exoplanets in the solar system.

She uses machine learning to identify patterns in the stars, and works incredibly hard to make it happen.

The video is a beautifully shot documentary, combining live action footage with clean motion graphics that perfectly compliment the story. This insight into what people are discovering lies out there in the universe is a welcome, much-needed relief from lockdown-themed videos.
