French Supermarket Monoprix’s latest advert is like something from a horror film. The advert shows a young woman walking happily down the street listening to music, before the actual worst song in the world somehow comes on in her playlist. The video features the singer in terrible 80’s clothing and dated visuals to match, with the lyrics singing about just how bad the song is and asking why the woman doesn’t just skip it. It turns out she has her hands full with shopping, and the advert is intended to advertise Monoprix’s new delivery service. Hopefully this service can avert this terrible situation actually happening to someone in real life.
