Veterans charity The Royal British Legion released this moving short film called They Still Go.
The film reminds people of the huge sacrifices that soldiers make and the dangerous situations that they put themselves in. When they’re fighting in wars around the world, they can have such a sense of bravery that they almost feel invincible. But when they come home, they can be faced with mental health difficulties and can find it hard to integrate back into normal jobs and a typical lifestyle.

This moving appeal from The Royal British Legion looks to remind us of the hard work that they do to support veterans once they leave the armed forces. Often, servicemen and women can be asked to go to some of the toughest environments in the world. But one of the toughest situations that they can face is leaving the military. This appeal shows us how we need to help out our ex-soldiers as they’ve helped the rest of us through their service in the past. The Royal British Legion does lots of work to help people in this way.
