This video from Genius picks apart one of our favourite music videos of the year so far – Walk It Talk It from Migos is an homage to classic 70’s show Soul Train, featuring incredible costumes, dancing, and Drake with curly hair (we’re still reeling from it). Daps, the director of the video and long time collaborator with Migos, picks apart the video for us, explaining the work that went into recreating the 70’s aesthetic – everything from recreating the set the Jackson 5 performed on to recreating vintage camera effects such as slow fades and zoom outs.
