This stunning short-film by Philips explores the issue of insomnia within the Icelandic fisherman community. The film follows the day to day life of one of these fisherman, as he talks in the voiceover about how his working life negatively affects his sleep pattern. Made by T Brand Studio, the marketing unit of the New York Times, it’s beautifully shot to show the harshness of the work these men do, and the effect that insomnia can have on their mental health.
