Created by animator Christopher Rutledge, The Loaf Zone is a collection of short stories in a world that you’re either going to want to visit or steer well clear of. Fast-paced and funny, the short video is made up of a series of bizarre skits – from a bank robbery gone weird, to an socially-awkward encounter gone weird, to a child’s play area gone weird… You get the picture. Well written and brilliantly voice-acted, the strange animation style only serves to help with the absurdist humour and all round weirdness, but there’s more chuckles packed into this short film than in most full-episode length TV series these days.
