Directly addressing one of the most joked-about aspects of a prostate exam, the Prostate Cancer Canada Foundation decided to try and work out a way for men to feel a bit more comfortable with having a doctor’s digits up and about their private areas. The result is what they are calling the “Famous Fingers Collection” – a range of latex gloves that are modelled after key figures in history, sport and pop-culture to try and see who men are most comfortable with. The accompanying video is a funny mock-focus group testing out different fingers such as Frankenstein, Babe Ruth and even Billy The Kid (the clear favourite). Hopefully this ad will prompt more men to get themselves checked, and we can’t pretend we’re not a bit interested to know how a prostate exam from Thor would feel like…
