The Chemical Brothers are known for putting a lot of creativity into their music videos, and their collaboration with directors domandnic for “Wide Open” is no different. In it, a woman dances gracefully around an empty warehouse, while parts of her body slowly change into some kind of 3D mesh. It’s an extraordinary technical feat – all done in one shot, and the CGI is blended seamlessly with the live action footage, even down to the tiniest details like the shadows the mesh casts against the dancer’s skin.
