British comic The Beano and Bose team up to find out what it is about farts that make us laugh. There’s nothing about a brief bit of wind that should make us chuckle, so what’s going on?
They come up with a formula that explains why we laugh when someone parps. It’s the intensity and length of the fart times by the number of kids that are around divided by the age and gender of the them. Basically, it’s a combination of the immaturity of the people around mixed with how funny it sounds. It’s an amazing formula that explains a phenomenon that has baffled scientists for years. Truly incredible stuff.
It’s a funny promo that takes something childish and brings it into the science lab. But did the video really get to the bottom (no pun intended) of why we find flatulence so amusing?, In all honesty, not really, but it was still a funny vid to watch either way. Its a cool vid from The Beano and shows us that Bose has a good sense of humour too.
