Elon Musk’s car company, Tesla, reveals how they’re making fully-functional ventilators out of car parts in order to help in the fight against Covid-19.

Governments in various countries have asked companies if they can use their manufacturing expertise to create more ventilators. Although most countries still have enough for patients at the moment, some leaders are worried about shortages. The medical machines are vital for treating people with severe cases of Coronavirus. The team at Tesla came up with a unique approach for solving the issue. Instead of getting parts from medical suppliers, they’ve decided to create ventilators using parts of their Tesla cars, in order to reduce the burden placed on medical companies.

By creating the equipment with their own supplies, the cost to the government and medical community is drastically reduced. Elon Musk has been praised for his philnatirophy and kindheartedness in the past having pledged to plant 1 million trees in 2019. It’s a really nice thing to Tesla to do and shows us how the company have used their innovative ideas to help during this crisis.
