Built as part of an immersive experience for the Day For Night Festival in the US, Telestron is an exhibit that utilises two robotic arms with geometric shapes and lights attached to their heads, conducting a sound and light show in an empty room. The robots are choreographed to dance in sync with each other, sometimes coming together to create a solid beam of light moving over the heads of visitors. Other times they are moving more erratically as red lights flash around the space, giving the sense they are rebelling their programming and about to break free. The incredible video shot of the event gives a view into what festival-goers were treated to by the installation, and a great sense of the scale of the exhibit in relation to the two robots.
