We’ve all seen movies and heard theories about how computers could be fooling us all and could be keeping us inside of a simulation without us knowing. But it’s just science-fiction right?
Well it might not be as far-fetched as you might think. In recent years, some scientists have put forward theories that there’s actually a pretty good chance we might be sitting in a simulation right now. That might sound totally ridiculous, but some have pointed out that the idea that all humanity happened purely through coincidence is a pretty hard thing to fully believe as well.
In this mind-blowing animation, we learn about how we could actually find evidence that we are really living in a simulation. Through examining patterns, science and matter, we could spot “mistakes” in our world. This could prove that we are indeed not living in the real world. It’s a really interesting idea and it’s amazing to think that some scientists are genuinely looking into this as a serious matter. The animation and narration brings a really complicated concept to life in a unique and compelling way. Who knows, maybe The Matrix might not be so far from reality after all…
