Another great animation to complement a track by Tame Impala – this video for Feels Like We Only Go Backwards was made entirely in stop motion from plasticine by directors Joe Pelling and Becky Sloane. The filmmakers play around with creating geometric shapes and 3D patterns, and really test how far they can push the medium to suit the track. The wavy visuals sync up brilliantly with the similarly hazy song so that by the end of the video, you’re left only slightly disorientated.
