Officially the biggest show in the UK – Strictly Come Dancing is returning with a bang, and a brilliant new advert to match.
The video centres around an old pair of brogues, left in the rain outside a charity shop. A passing pair of disembodied heels takes pity on them, and the two ghostly pairs of shoes begin a fast-paced and joyous dance through the street.
Made by BBC Creative, the advert is supposed to play to those who tend to hide their love for dancing, but secretly love it when Strictly comes around – the brogues are at first not interested in joining in, but after some encouragement are tapping away just as enthusiastically as the heels.
