It’s that time of year again, Movember. The month where blokes from all over the world grow dodgy moustaches for a good cause. In this ad, we hear Stephen Fry and others tell us some fake facts about moustaches.

For all you moustache purists out there, you might be a bit gutted that you’re not about to learn some real moustache facts. But these fakies are so funny that you won’t mind missing out on some real facial hair facts. We hear Stephen tell us that moustaches can repel bullets, Bear Grylls tells us that moustaches will keep humans totally warm, no matter where they are, Stephen Merchant says that Queen’s success was purely down to Freddie Mercury’s awesome facial hair and Nicole Scherzinger informs us that the word “moustache” comes from the old Anglo-Saxon word that means “virile badger”.

So, maybe those facts aren’t totally true and the vid isn’t all that serious. But it does remind us of an important issue and the reason why Movember exists in the first place. All over the globe this month, men will grow hair on their upper lips to raise money for mens issues such as prostate and testicular cancer and men’s mental health.
