State of America tackles the issue of racism head on in this compelling short film. It covers ideas around patriotism and how daily experiences of living in the US can vary widely, depending on your race.

 

Directed by Morgan Cooper and Brandon Porter, the guys behind the viral fake trailer for Bel-Air, they show us their talents once again with this moving film. It emotionally describes the struggles faced by African-Americans and highlights how the country is still facing serious issues with racism, even in 2019. They make the point that the country still has a long way to go before they can become a truly equal society.
