Spotify’s latest TV advert is a humorous example of when choosing the right song can have a serious impact on people’s mood. Presented as a Hollywood blockbuster-style car chase, the action packed video is like something from a Jason Statham film – the only difference being that instead of pumping techno music the car in question is playing Miley Cyrus’ classic anthem Wrecking Ball. The momentum of the chase keeps getting lost a tad as the protagonists keep pausing to discuss the production values of the song, with even the police getting involved in the high-speed debate.
