This video by adidas Skateboarding introduces us to their Japanese skate team, but it isn’t your usual video of just skating tricks. The director, Patrik Wallner, plays around with splitting the screen in two both horizontally and vertically. The footage is synchronised extremely well and it creates a great effect, with skaters passing back and forth across the screen and from one space juxtaposed with another, from day to night or from the city to the countryside.
