Apple’s HomePod advert featuring FKA Twigs is one of our favourite adverts so far this year. This behind the scenes video shows how director Spike Jonze and his team made the incredible visual effects in the video come to life through a painstakingly choreographed combination of lighting, set design and dance. Most surprisingly, a huge amount of the moving furniture and walls of the ad were actually done for real, with the whole set put on turning wheels and gears that moved whole sections of it in time with the music. It’s a fascinating little look into the work that goes in to making something so intensely creative, and shows just how much money Apple have to invest in projects of this nature.
