New Zealand brewery Speight’s newest advert The Dance is a heart-warming video that shows a group of co-workers all banding together to help their mate learn some proper dance moves for his wedding. The ad shows us the awkward beginnings of the training, with two burly guys ballroom dancing in the middle of an empty factory, but before long the whole team are sitting and critiquing his moves, giving tips and dancing a bit themselves. The end scene shows all the hard work paying off, with the bride being quite literally swept off her feet by her new husband’s surprise moves. The ad fits perfectly with the brand’s tagline – “Good on ya mate”, celebrating friendship and just generally looking out for each other in a funny way… Maybe they could teach us some moves next.
