Smear is a horror/comedy about one of the most stressful situations a woman can go through – a smear test. We see a nervous woman being told to calm down and get over it while waiting for her first test, before being brought into a room with a slightly weird doctor and overly patronising nurse. What follows is a scene reminiscent of Little Shop of Horrors crossed with that episode from Drawn Together, as her lady parts begin tearing up the room, generally killing people and making a pretty huge mess. It’s all done with a huge sense of fun and satire, and features the best nurse-getting-dragged-across-the-floor-by-her-feet scene since Spiderman 2.
