Well this looks like a pretty scary affair – the first trailer for the inevitable Slender Man film looks like a combination of The Blair Witch Project and The Conjuring. Based on the extremely thinly-plotted game of the same title, it might actually work out in the film’s favour that the writers had very little backstory to work with, and therefore could come up with all the gruesome, creepy, woods-stalking action that they could think of.
