Skater Cata Diaz takes Nike SB on a tour round Barcelona in this short film.

Cata decided to move to Barcelona from Chile to try and make it as a pro skateboarder. She was at a crossroads and was about to go to uni but took the brave decision to move thousands of miles away to the skating hub of Barcelona. It was a huge contrast to her life in her native country. In Chile, there were no skateparks or any facilities like that. They made their own ramps, grinding bars and jumps. But Barca is filled with stuff for skaters and the city as a whole is super skate-friendly.

We get to see Cata in action and hear about her passion for the sport. For her, skateboarding isn’t just a pastime, it’s a lifestyle. She says that even though she came from an entirely different country, the community here welcomed her with open arms and she fitted in well to the city’s thriving skate scene. It’s an inspirational doc from Nike SB.
