Shutterstock tell you how to fake a moon landing in this funny ad. One of the biggest conspiracy theories of all time is that the famous 1969 moon landing was faked by the Americans.

The theory says that in order to win the space race, the US employed a film crew to create a fake video of their astronauts landing on the moon. Of course, there’s no evidence that they did that and the theory has been discredited by pretty much everyone. But if you did want to fake a moon landing in 2019, would you put a modern spin on it? Would you update it for the 21st century?

Shutterstock show us how to re-create the iconic moon landing using their stock footage. Some of it looks cool and futuristic and some of it looks wacky and weird. The ad comes as the world celebrates the 50th anniversary of the first moon landing. Loads of brands have been making interesting commercials that are themed around the anniversary and we reckon this ad has to be one of the funniest of the bunch.
