Sergio is about to becomes Spain’s most capped player ever having racked up 168 games in total for his national team. When he hits that number one spot, he’ll be the “king” of Spanish football. It’s also fitting that he should be given a royal title, as he’s played over 400 times for Real Madrid. Literally translated, Real Madrid means Royal Madrid. The team were bestowed the majestic title by the Spanish king Alfonso XIII.
In this awesome ad, we see Sergio “grow” tattoos on his body. He starts off with none at all. But as a narrator recalls some of his greatest games, they start to appear on his body, acting like medals of honour. By the end of the video, we finally see Sergio with his complete tattoo set, reminding us of the long journey in sports that the defender has had. His tattoos are a mark of his incredible talents and relentless dedication to football.
