Serge, The Speaker vs. The Sonos System

This latest advert by Sonos for their smart home sound system takes direct aim at Apple’s HomePod in a hilarious way. The short ad sees two buddies attempting to get their new jazzy floating sound system to play some music but failing miserably, a direct reference to the fact that Apple’s HomePod can only play music from the Apple Music store. The “Serge” system eventually just flies straight away from them, showing the tagline “You’re better than this” before we see the two relaxing with their now functioning Sonos system – it’s a funny way to take shots at a rival while showing off the functionality of their own device.
