The latest advert from KFC is a bit of a weird one… And it stars one of the stars of the hit show Seinfeld Jason Alexander.
Alexander plays Colonel Sanders himself, bursting in on a family who are have no idea what to have for dinner (three guesses as to what he suggests…) – what follows is a hilariously retro spoof of cheesy 80’s sitcoms, all of it heavily chicken based.
The Colonel then begins to integrate himself into the family, becoming everything from their postman to the nosy neighbour all the way through into being the actual couch they sit on – all the while incorporating chicken into every activity.
The video is decidedly surreal and with its tongue firmly in cheek, and is reminiscent of the legendary Too Many Cooks viral sensation from Adult Swim.
