This powerful animation from Sands, the Stillbirth and Neo-natal Death Charity, addresses the taboo subject of baby loss and how best to interact with someone going through such a difficult situation as the loss of a child. The video shows a woman struggling to deal with her loss, something that isn’t helped by the fact that her friends and colleagues feel awkward around her, shutting her out and ignoring her grief rather than attempting to connect with her. The animation ends with a friend offering her tea and vocalising her condolences, showing how just being there for someone can sometimes be enough in times of tragedy.
