Samsung’s “Quantum World” advert is designed to show off the vibrant colours their QLED TV can actually achieve, and is a surreal video blending material effects with real life footage to create a whirlwind of colours. In the video we see a train track becoming a zipper, which then opens to reveal a forest of giant broccoli, before gigantic sky-turtles begin lazily floating over skyscrapers made out of actual swimming pools? It’s all extremely trippy and well made, and a novel way of showing off a TV’s colour spectrum (it’s just a shame we’re not actually watching it on one isn’t it?)
