Ryan Reynolds makes fun of Fyre Festival documentary star, Andy King in this brilliant ad from Aviation Gin.
The theme of the ad is based around the idea of dedication and how far people would go for their company. Ryan asks us how far we would go for our companies. How committed are we really? Ryan said that after discovering Aviation Gin, he loved it so much, he bought the company. To show his dedication, he blows the glass himself to create each gin bottle.
He said that he was inspired by the dedication of Andy King. King rose to internet stardom after the release of Netflix’s documentary about Fyre Festival. In it, King recounts a story where he needs to convince one of the caterers to give them some water for the festival free, after everything went wrong with the organisation of the festival. We won’t say here exactly what he admits he was prepared to do, we’ll let you Google the rest of the story! Needless to say, his admission turned him into a huge meme, making him a perfect person to star in this brilliant ad!
