How do you go about marketing the biggest country in the world which spans over 17 million kilometres and has almost every kind of environment possible? That’s exactly the task that the Russian tourism brand were faced with, and this brilliantly made video is an example of how to achieve just that – by breaking the country down into separate sections represented through a collection of shapes, they then built the video up with footage relating to Russian culture, environment and landscapes, all using the shapes as templates. The result is an eye catching and constantly changing visual spectacle which makes full use of its template by choosing to break out of it now and again.
