Rolling Stone continues their “children of rap” series, where they speak to the offspring of some of the most talented Hip Hop artists of all time. In this episode, they meet 22 year old CJ Wallace, son of the late rap legend The Notorious B.I.G aka Biggie Smalls.

Biggie was killed in a drive by shooting in 1997. CJ was born one year before his dad’s murder and never got to see his father growing up. For CJ, he felt like almost everyone in the world had a relationship with his father through his music, but he never got to spend time with his Dad himself.

In this short documentary, we learn about CJ’s desire to carry on his father’s legacy. He’s followed in his father’s footsteps and is making music of his own. But CJ’s biggest venture is his legal cannabis company, Think BIG. He doesn’t just see it from a recreational side, he also wants to help people receive the medicinal benefits of cannabis too. It’s a really interesting insight into the child of one of rap’s biggest names.
