This Vice documentary looks into the growing technologies in the world of robotics, and how manufacturers are moving away from the relatively slow-advancing field of physically engineering robots to focusing on software and the development of AI. The film features a surprisingly intense game of the Ancient Chinese board game Go, where one of the world champions of the infamously complicated game was beaten in 4 out of 5 games by a computer program developed by Google’s Deep Mind project.
