Yeti Cycle’s documentary about Nepalese rider Rajesh Magar is a beautifully shot profile film about one of the fastest riders in Asia right now. Raised on the outskirts of Kathmandu, RJ (as he is nicknamed) began riding on what he himself calls a “Franken-bike”, cobbled together by himself from scrap parts of motorcycles and other junk. Now a fully-sponsored racer and making waves in international competitions, RJ is hoping to put Asian riders on the map on the world stage. The documentary follow RJ training in both the manic streets of Kathmandu as well as the stunning landscapes of the Himalayas, as well as him taking us on a tour of his home life and discussing the early days of his career.
