Red Bull joins wakeskaters Zuzana Vrablova and Brian Grubb as the explore the stunning Lençóis Maranhenses lagoons.

The tiny lagoons are scattered across huge sand dunes in the Brazilian desert. They’re only a few feet deep, so most watersports can’t use them. But wakeskaters only need a little bit of water to pull of their tricks. The athletes skim along the water and leap over jumps and slide around turns.

The talented boarders show off some serious skills. Not everything goes entirely to plan though. They try to skate down the sand dune and then keep going straight into the water. It’s an ambitious effort, but they can’t pull it off. It’s a really impressive video from Red Bull and the location is truly breathtaking. To be honest, you could film someone doing anything here and it would still look amazing. We’d love to visit these dunes ourselves. What did you make of the video? Did you enjoy it?
