Netflix’s latest series announcement is one to get seriously excited about – The Rain is a Scandinavian post-apocalyptic thriller that looks like it’s going to be tense, atmospheric and extremely binge-worthy. The teaser doesn’t give much away but from what we can tell the world’s population has been all but wiped out by something to do with – you guessed it, rain… A full series about the apocalypse has been a long time coming for the streaming giant, and this marks the first time Netflix has co-produced with a Danish company.
